STATEMENT FROM THE TWENTY-NINTH SOUTHERN AFRICA REGIONAL CLIMATE OUTLOOK FORUM (SARCOF-29)

The Twenty-Ninth Southern Africa Regional Climate Outlook Forum (SARCOF-29) was convened in Harare, Zimbabwe from 26th to 28th August 2024 to present a consensus outlook for the October 2024 to March 2025 rainfall season over the SADC region.  Before the forum, there was a Climate Experts Meeting aimed at building capacity of Climate Experts from National Meteorological and Hydrological Services of SADC Member States on the 19-25 August 2024 to formulate this Outlook.
