Communication & Public Relations Unit
The Communications and Public Relations Unit (CPRU) oversees a wide range of communications, visibility and awareness activities including:
- providing strategic corporate communication, promotion and awareness of SADC programmes, as well as Public Relations and Protocol Services.
- leading and coordinating implementation of SADC corporate communications, including media relations, public affairs, protocol services, corporate branding, and promotion of SADC and its programmes.
- Driving the implementation of Communication, Visibility and Awareness interventions as outlined in the SADC Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan (RISDP) 2020 – 2030

Enhanced communication, visibility, and awareness of SADC, its activities, and impact, in the regional community and globally.
