The Thirtieth Southern Africa Regional Climate Outlook Forum (SARCOF-30) was convened in Antananarivo, Madagascar from 28th to 30th January 2025 to present a consensus outlook for the February to June 2025 rainfall season over the SADC region. Before the forum, there was a Climate Experts Meeting aimed at building capacity of Climate Experts from National Meteorological and Hydrological Services of SADC Member States on the 21-27 January 2025 to formulate this Outlook.

The SADC Climate Services Centre provides operational, regional services for monitoring and predicting extremes in climate condition. The Centre develops and disseminates meteorological, environmental and hydro-meteorological products. The Centre’s products contribute to improved disaster risk management in the region, and help to ensure Member States are better prepared for weather and climate disasters, conservation and protection of natural resources.
